3D design
Creating a story
From freehand sketches to realistic 3D renderings, all our jewelry is created by our in-house design team. Once a model is selected, it is drawn in 3D on a computer for use and further development. This is where the creative process begins.
3D printing
A craftsman with 4.0 methods
Our latest-generation 3D printer prints waxes down to 0.10 microns. Combined with traditional manufacturing, this enables us to create the best conditions of quality and reliability for our collections. It also allows us to be more reactive in our creative process.
Our stone selection
Quality sourcing
Façonnier has a network of lapidaries around the world, ensuring quality sourcing in line with the best practices of the jewelry industry. We also develop our own stone cuts, exploiting a very wide range of gems. For diamonds, we work exclusively with natural stones of minimum G quality.
The cast-iron shaft
From idea to realization
Waxes produced using the 3D printer or traditional molds are placed on a wax tree. The imprint of the tree is set in plaster, an essential preparatory step for quality gold casting. It is this tree that gives birth to the jewelry.
Custom jewelry,your way
Melting gold
From gold bead to jewel
The quality of a lost-wax casting is the result of a skilful coordination between time and temperature. The expertise of our founders is reflected in the surface quality of our jewelry. Our teams work in 18-carat gold alloys.
Jewelry
The excellence of French know-how
Through their work, our jewelers honor the excellence of over a hundred years of French craftsmanship. Our jewelers work with jewelry just removed from the tree. In our workshop, the most experienced show the way to the youngest.
Welding
Precision is everything
Laser welding enables you to achieve a perfect finish while getting as close as possible to the stone. This method complements traditional flashlight and band furnace welding to offer a flawless technical solution.
The setters
The art of magnifying a gem
Setting a piece of jewelry is one of the most complicated stages in the process, requiring precision and concentration. To achieve an exceptional result, a century of accumulated know-how is passed down from generation to generation.
