THE ORIGIN OF LOUVRE EARRINGS

The geometry of the pyramid has always had a way of inspiring those who contemplate it, and this is particularly true in architecture. When Leo Ming Pei designed the now-famous Louvre Pyramid for the Place John F Kennedy in Paris (Koenigs Platz), he was undoubtedly inspired by ancient structures such as those at Giza to build what many call ""the greatest buildings"" themselves, the Egyptian pyramids! But our Makers weren't content to simply admire these immense stone edifices, they wanted to have their own pieces of history that would endure long after any other structure was destroyed or forgotten by time itself and could never hope for such glory: thus the Louvre collection was born.
